On Monday, September 1st, 2025, the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, presided over the installation ceremony of the new Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Abdelhafid Bedjaoui, who succeeds Prof. Chakib Abi Ayad following his retirement. The event was attended by the vice-rectors, faculty deans, members of the university community, as well as social partners.

 

In his address, the Rector of the University of Tlemcen expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Dean, Prof. Chakib Abi Ayad, for the efforts made during his tenure at the head of the Faculty, while extending his best wishes for success to the incoming Dean in fulfilling his new responsibilities.
